Excellent Hotel and Wonderful Staff
My Brother has Parkinsons and requires use of a wheel chair. The accessibility to the hotel was excellent. The Staff at the hotel were professional and very helpful. I would like to say a special thankyou to Tony in the Brasserie restaurant who was both helpful and understanding. A credit to the Hotel. I would not hesitate to book again in the future
Had an amazing holiday.
A wonderful Hotel. Excellent amenities and extremely pleasant , helpful staff. Very well equipped room and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds.
Overall good value for the package
A lovely venue for a relaxing Hen do. Spa access, treatment, evening meal, room and breakfast included in a package meant it was easy to arrange a hen do with no hidden costs. Only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that the floors of the poolside weren’t very clean. Also, the tile floor in the Brasserie is broken and unsafe in places.
Beautiful Hotel, Outstanding Staff, Wonderful Experience
My wife and I recently stayed at Crewe Hall as a birthday treat, and we had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning. The Victorian hall is full of authentic character and beautiful original features, making it a fascinating place to explore. The grounds are equally impressive, immaculately maintained and perfect for a relaxing stroll. The spa and leisure facilities were excellent, and from what I understand there are further improvements planned, which will only make the experience even better. It provided the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a relaxing weekend together. What really made our stay special, however, was the quality of the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. A special mention must go to the young gentleman on reception who welcomed us on arrival and to Libby, who looked after us during our evening meal. Their warmth and attentiveness reflected the exceptional service we received throughout our stay. It's rare to find a venue where the surroundings, facilities and customer service all exceed expectations, but Crewe Hall managed exactly that. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and memorable break. Thank you to everyone at Crewe Hall for helping make my wife's birthday so special.
Perfect location
Perfect location. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Our accessible room was excellent and was in the new wing. The bathroom was well equipped for the disabled guest and everywhere was spotless. However, there could be a lot of walking if you wanted to go into the old hall but there is a lift to get you there but still a lot of walking if you have mobility issues. We must mention the restaurant. The food served in the evening was excellent and beautifully presented but the hot breakfast was not so good but there was a good selection of cereals and pastries. Not sure we would visit again due to the walking due to my husband’s mobility.
A great visit to Crewe Hall Hotel
First contact was on the phone, in advance of stay, with Phobee..the light of the party!! Cheerful, inviting and very helpful and set the level of our expectation of the stay. Tim in the Restaurant is a joy as a manager..knowedegable, very helpful, went out of his way to help our menu needs and manages the most positive team. Tony at breakfast..a charachter who wants everyone to be happy and is a source of great information about the hidden parts of this beautiful and historic properety. One small comment: at check in to tell arrivals how to reach their rooms easily...walking through the old property with stairs and luggage to reach the new rooms in a challenge...suggest drive down and park conveniently. Overall, an excellent stay in a beautiful property with people who just want guests to have a great visit.
Great anniversary break
We had a great time at Crewe hall celebrating our anniversary. The room upgrade made our stay very special. Also the cream tea service provided by Madison and Melissa was perfect. Would definitely come back again.
A special relaxing family break.
We had a lovely time for 2 days, Couldn't fault anything, Lauren was very helpful and looked after us amazingly, Thank you Lauren.
Review re hotel staff
Excellent, very helpful and willing staff
Beautiful Hotel
Hotel was beautiful. The restaurant man informed us of a leaflet we could collect at reception regarding the history of the hotel ans that we were a legal to wonder around. Not aure why reception didn't give us this? Our room had not been cleaned, when i informed reception she wasn't bothered. Just looked at me. I then proceeded to ask for clean towels etc. Restaurant food was amazing, expensive but delicious. The beer in the conference room tasted wrong and gave my partner an awful stomach. They were selling it on offer so wondering if near its end. We were with a wedding party. Bars were closed at 10pm, I understand why but not acceptable. We called it a night then and went to bed. Overall a beautiful place and we enjoyed our time. Reception need to learn to smile.
Great meal
Lovely meal this evening. Our waitress Lauren was so lovely, polite and attentive.
Gorgeous stay!
Wow! This place is so incredibly beautiful. Driving up, walking into the lobby, it is all so breathtakingly lovely. Lorraine and Phoebe greeted us at the reception desk and they were both so kind and warm. They surprised us by letting us know we were the guests of the day! And we had free drinks in the bar, which was great. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and exploring the different rooms. We had a delicious dinner in the brasserie. Highly recommend you stop here and check it out.
5 star would reccomend
I had a brilliant chat with Jamie at the bar, he made some excellent drinks. On the other hand the atmosphere of this place is amazing and i really enjoyed my time here.
Fabulous spa facilities!
A beautiful hotel and gorgeous spa! The room was a great size and beds really comfy. We went on a one night spa break and the spa facilities themselves were fabulous! Great size pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We were able to laze outside in the sun as well. Our stay included a treatment - not the greatest massage I’ve ever had and it definitely wasn’t the 50 mins I’d booked, but still relaxing. The majority of staff were really friendly but the restaurant staff were exceptional - so friendly and welcoming. The food was also delicious. All in a great place to go for a one night spa break, we’d go back again!
Lovely hotel and staff
A last minute booking and we were not disappointed by the driveway approach and fabulous surroundings of the hotel. A warm welcome at reception and a spacious clean and well equipped room kept clean by Brandon! The spa experience was fantastic and staff at the Brasserie were really professional, helpful and efficient at every serving.
Last minute booking
We had a Deluxe King Room upstairs in the modern block. The room was fine and spotlessly clean. It was quiet and there were owls in the trees outside, which was lovely to hear. All the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Melissa and Madison looked after us in the bar and on the terrace until check in time. Dinner and breakfast were good although my poached eggs were overcooked. Think chef had forgotten them. It was a last minute booking and we thought it was quite expensive compared to some of the other Q Hotels we had stayed in.
Kardan coach holiday
The staff were helpful and always available, the staff in the restaurant, Grace,Lauren, Jamie, Libby and Alfie were very attentive and accommodated the requests of the guests always with a smile. Rooms and facilities were excellent. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout.
A birthday treat
Really welcoming staff in spa. Showed us around and explained everything. The massage was fantastic, I felt so relaxed afterwards. Then we went for lunch. The waitress, Donna was lovely and handed me a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate, such a lovely touch. Will definitely think of going again.
Well worth a visit
A wonderful experience with superb food and friendly and attentive service. While only young, Lauren is a credit to the Crewe Arms famil
A lovely stay away
My husband and I visited here for our wedding anniversary for a long weekend. We stayed in a suite in the original building. It was characterful and had a lovely four poster bed. There were some original features which added to the atmosphere e.g., an original desk. However, it was quite a warm weekend and there was no air conditioning which made sleep quite uncomfortable at times as there was also a very heavy duvet on the bed. The quality of the food was really good and the service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the second morning was better as we were able to order items from the menu. We had an afternoon tea which was enjoyable. In most places you are offered refills of tea and coffee, alongside food. However, we didn’t get that here which was disappointing. The gym was good and had a wide range of equipment. Overall, we had a lovely time but the older rooms need to have air conditioning with this warmer climate.
