Tea please
The hotel is stunning with so much character , a private chapel so much history . Reception staff were very helpful as we weren’t able to charge our phones so they lent us an adapter. The room in the modern part was very nice with easily controlled heating and plenty of hot water for either a bath or shower. My husband has some health issues and some disabled parking close to the entrance would have been helpful. We had dinner at the hotel which was well presented and well cooked- albeit not very hot. The next morning we had breakfast which was ok but not good. The fresh fruit and yogurt was welcome, the cooked breakfast was again cool . My main concern was that I could not get a hot cup of tea. The machines delivered warm water for tea and coffee which was most unappetising and forms the basis of a good start to the day. If we stay again I would ask staff for a jug of Boiling water. The staff were without exception very good. Thank you.

Lovely building with wonderful rooms and service
Had the full package, including afternoon tea, entry to the private show gardens. The hotel is just a few minutes away, as you enter the driveway you instantly feel a bit special, a quarter mile, treelined approach to grand stately home building. The receptionist was warm friendly and very welcoming, easily sold us the classic 4 poster bed and room upgrade , just by her description alone. The room, the gym the spa and pool, all clean tidy classy, the food as the restaurant was excellent, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, good prices and decent portions too. Highly recommended for a touch of class without breaking the bank.

The Brasserie restaurant was fantastic. The service was first class and the evening meal followed by breakfast was excel
The location is excellant. Very friendly atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a standard double room that was large. Good sized bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The rooms wer spotlessly clean. We booked a special with a trip to Bridgemere Garden Centre and it was excellant value.
Amazing place
Absolutely amazing place. The staff were amazing and the food, drinks and spa were Absolutely amazing. Made my sister in laws 60th great. The room was fab clean and the beds so comfy. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would be visiting again.
A galaxy of stars
Location was superb, set in 8 acres of parkland. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The room was large, immaculately presented and clean. Everthing needed for a short break was there. The room was also very quiet. The service was outstanding. We travelled with our little dog, who was made most welcome. To the point that when we sat down for dinner, the restuarant manager personally fetched her a bowl of water. We ate in the bar area as we had a dog, but that was equally as comfortable. Finally, the food. Outstanding. Every meal was a gastronomic delight.
Relaxing stay
Spent a couple of nights here. Had a relaxing time using the wet area facilities (pool, whirlpool, sauna and heated lounger). The lounger could have been warmer but I did enjoy just chilling out. Food at dinner was of good quality and choice. Breakfast had various choices but some of the hot items looked a bit dried out. Found the staff, in particular at spa, dining area and housekeeping very friendly. Setting was lovely especially when being able to read about the history of the hall and the chapel was quaint. Good size bedroom, although could here neighbours (room was in modern extension). But bed was very comfortable and had 2 great sleeps. Would return.
A very nice stay
Stayed for one night recently, everything was really good from arrival to leaving. All staff really friendly polite and helpful. Pool area was spotless and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were excellent. Our room was a standard double in the modern annexe we were very happy with our room everything was as it should be and we slept well in a comfy double bed. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was good. Nice quality bedding and towels. We ate at the brasserie that night and we were really happy with our food and service, breakfast was buffet style and very fresh with a good choice. The man who was in charge at breakfast (Tony) was so pleasant and friendly so a big thank you to you. All in all we loved our stay only wish it could have been longer ( it will be next time we stay) thanks to all at Crewe hall for a most welcoming and comfortable night. Regards Frank and Linda.
Excellent midweek break
My wife and I had a very pleasant midweek break and can highly recommend the hotel We had a well equipped quiet bedroom with all the facilities we needed the cleanliness being faultless The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning allowed us to set our own temperature The food and service at the restaurant was excellent with a good choice on the menu Special compliments to Grace ( evening) and Tony (breakfast) for their very friendly service We will be returning
Amazing Two Night Stay
We had an amazing time. Beautiful rooms, awesome breakfast, used pool & gym which are amazing! Staff are so friendly!!! Second time we've used hotel and is definitely now our go to for visiting our family in the area. Gorgeous setting.
Excellent
I am a member of the gym and regularly retire to the brasserie bar for a pint afterwards with my wife. We are always met with great service, especially from my favourite bar tenders Magda, Elliot and Sophie. It’s also been great seeing Grace progress from bartender to supervisor. Elliot is also pours the best staropramen 💪
Beautiful Building
Beautiful building, full of character & history. We walked around & had a good look at everything & it was amazing. We were hoping that our room would have been in the historic part of the hotel but it was not, although the room we did have was very comfortable with a lovely view of the woodland. We had dinner in the restaurant & the food was excellent, everything was fresh, hot & very tasty but we felt that the staff, although lovely, could do with some more training. Although the breakfast was nice, tables were left dirty & staff didn't really seem bothered, our dishes were not cleared away the whole time that we were there. It seems that the hotel is focusing on conferences & meetings rather than the hotel guests.
Lovely hotel and spa - positive experience
We purchased a spa break package for two people for the 20th of March, which included the nights stay, spa access, spa treatment, dinner voucher, and breakfast. For what was included, it was brilliant value for money. We had access to the spa the full day of our stay, but this is not guaranteed if it is busy. Our treatments were early afternoon due to availability but we both really enjoyed the spa facilities and experience. The room was basic, which we expected from the costs and no issues with cleanliness or amenities in the room. Dinner and breakfast was great and the dinner voucher covered most of the cost of food. Overall a positive experience. The only negative feedback i have is around cleanliness of the hotel bar and restaurant. A large party had been sat on the front terrace with food and drinks and these weren't cleared for a good couple of hours after they had left. With this being at the hotel entrance, i would hvae thought this would be an important area to keep presentable. Also, when we arrived at the restaurant for breakfast, the coffee mugs provided on ours and adjacent tables were stained. We pointed this out to the waitress and she cleared them away straight away. Lovely builidng and grounds, and an overall positive experience for great value.
Outstanding Service from Jess - Crewe Hall
We visited the bar in Crewe Hall late yesterday afternoon (Monday, 23rd March) as members of Crewe Health Club, and I wanted to share just how exceptional the service was that we received from Jess. Jess looked after us, and she was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable — the kind of person who makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. Her impeccable service made both my wife and myself feel truly valued, and she turned what could have been an ordinary visit into something very special. It’s rare to come across someone who possess excellent customer service skills so naturally, but Jess certainly does. Because of her, we will definitely be returning. Please pass on our sincere thanks to her, she is a real credit to the team. Bobby and Carmen
Lovely hotel
Staff are amazing. Rooms were great. Very quiet. Only complaints: Pool was far too busy. Looks like there were swim lessons on taking 2 lanes. Not many food options. Ate in resturant first night which was fine but not enough choice for second night. Wanted bar menu second night but told finished service at 6pm so we ended up leaving hotel and dined at a local pub instead
